1. Information We Collect:

1.2 Usage Information: We may collect non-personal information about how you use our Mobile Banking Facility, including your IP address, browser type, device information, and usage patterns.
2. Use of Information:
2.1 We use your personal information to provide you with our Mobile Banking Facility services, process your transactions, and manage your membership.
2.2 We may use your information to communicate with you, provide customer support, and send you important updates, such as changes to our terms or policies.
2.3 We may use non-personal information for analytical purposes, to improve our Mobile Banking Facility services, and for marketing and advertising purposes.
3. Information Sharing:
3.1 We may share your personal information with third parties, such as our service providers, business partners, and regulatory authorities, to facilitate the provision of our Mobile Banking Facility services and to comply with legal obligations.
3.2 We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes without your explicit consent.
4. Data Security:
4.1 We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
4.2 While we strive to protect your personal information, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
5. Mobile Banking Facility Specific Terms:
5.1 The Mobile Banking Facility provided by IG Sacco is for the personal use of the member and is not transferable.
5.2 The member should keep the Personal Identification Number (PIN) strictly confidential and must not reveal such particulars to any person at any time under any circumstances. In the event of loss, theft, or unauthorized access, the member must immediately notify IG Sacco and provide a written confirmation.
5.3 The member is responsible for all transactions processed through the Mobile Banking Facility.
5.4 IG Sacco has the authority to debit the account with all applicable charges and any other liabilities related to the use of Mobile Banking Facility.
5.5 IG Sacco reserves the right to refuse to carry out instructions if they believe they do not emanate from the member.
5.6 IG Sacco shall not be liable for any loss or damage incurred as a result of non-acceptance or non-adherence to instructions given through the Mobile Banking Facility.
5.7 The member shall not attempt transactions unless sufficient funds are available in the account(s).
5.8 If the account is a Joint Account, the member is jointly and severally liable with other joint account holders for all transactions arising from the use of the Mobile Banking Facility.
5.9 The member accepts IG Sacco's records and statements of all transactions processed by the Mobile Banking Facility as conclusive and binding.
5.10 IG Sacco may amend, supplement, or vary any of these terms and conditions and fees applicable at its sole discretion with or without notice to the member.
5.11 The use of the Mobile Banking Facility shall be subject to IG Sacco's prevailing general business conditions, rules, and regulations.
5.12 IG Sacco may cancel, withdraw, or renew the Mobile Banking Facility without prior notice or any reasons given to the member. In the event the member decides to terminate the use of the Mobile Banking Facility, the member shall give IG Sacco not less than seven (7) days' prior notice in writing and obtain a valid receipt thereof.
5.13 The privileges extended for the use of the Mobile Banking Facility shall be determined, varied, or amended at the sole discretion of IG Sacco.
5.14 All transactions by the use of the Mobile Banking Facility shall be governed by the laws of Kenya, and the courts of Kenya shall have jurisdiction in all matters relating to such transactions unless the member and IG Sacco agree to refer any such dispute to arbitration.
